SPACETIMEがまた帰って来た！ しかもかなりパワーアップして。マジで、星 の整列のように、しかも東京で、ゴールデン・ウィークで。まさにSPACETIME（直 訳→宇宙時間）がやって来た。日本人でではなく、アジア人でではなく、地球人でではなく、我々自由奔放な、宇宙人が集まる、宇宙規模のイヴェントが又もやチルアウトしに、ハプニング間近＠スーパーな、ディラックスな、六本木のsuper deluxeで。高次元なチルアウトなヴァイブズ、ピュア（no additives）な最高級の音楽で、皆みたいなファンキー・パーティー・ピープルと、魂を癒しませんか？ 音楽は癒すパワーあり、を証明する一大イ ヴェント、SPACETIME。われを忘れ、SPACETIME（直 訳→宇宙時間）を凄そう／過ごそう。
去年大盛況で終えた、まるで東京クラブ業界の自然発生型の楽しい同窓会みたいな、リキッド・ロフトでのSPACETIMEの20周年のイヴェント以来、さらにスーパー・メガトロン級の、大自然、宇宙人類を救う、一大豪華キャストが出演！ 東京、 ロンドン、ニューヨーク、サンフランシスコの世界の主要音楽都市から、超アンダーグラウントな、あり得ない、夢の超ドープな最高級のスーパー・アーティス トが、この東京で大集合。

東京のチルアウト・マイスター、Intelligent Jazz、Chillscapeのリーダー、Kay Nakayamaが日本代表としてDJ 参戦。
余談ですが、本当は、希望的にはジョナ・シャープ（spacetime continuum)のReagenzのパートナーである、Move DのDavid Moufangも同時期に初来日しているので、タイミング的にSPACETIMEのCHILL OUT FAR OUTのパーティーにも参戦したかったが、あいにくスケジュールの問題 で実現出来ず、凄く残念。マッ、このメンツでもうお腹一杯、これ以上に欲張らずでいいかと。
今回のSPACETIMEのCHILL OUT FAR OUTの パーティーは、SPACETIMEのRichard Sharpe（元Shamen） とス マイル・ダンサー楽団(Smile Dancer Orchestra)とのBUN666の電撃な出会いから、おこった一大集結ハプニングで、彼等が共同主催している。
東京は、今ヤバい、マジで。２１世紀の東京でしか起こりえない、SPACETIMEのCHILL OUT FAR OUTは。皆まだどこかで繋がっている（ミキシーとかビーチュアルじゃなくて）、普段会っていないけれど。またもや、同窓会気分で、チルアウト／ハングアウトしましょう。われ（SPACEとTIME)を忘れさせるパーティーがまたやって来たぞ。
どこまで（Far Out）チルアウト(Chill Out）するか、このゴールデン・ウェークで解る。宇宙時間を過ごそう／凄そう。

プロフィール
アンビエント・テクノ・イノベーターであるジョナ・シャープは、Spacetime Continuum名義で数多くのアルバムとEPをリリースし、自身のReflective Records（近日中に復活する予定で、Beatportにも名作揃いのレーベルのカタログがリリースされる予定）経由、90年 代のグローバルの実験的なアンビエントとテクノ・シーンを確立した。AstralwerksとVirgin Recordsから何枚かとソロ・アルバムをリリースしつつ、彼は、ライターと哲学者であるテレンス・マッケンナとライヴ・アルバムを発表し、YMO の細 野晴臣、Pete Namlook、Ursula Rucker、Move D.（去年、スパイラルのElectric Soul Classicsのシリーズから、Move Dとの共作、Reagenzのアルバムも再発）、Tetsu Inoue、Mixmaster Morris、Bill Laswell等々の多くのアーティストと共演した。
スコットランドのエジンバラ出身のJonah Sharpは、エレクトロニック・ミュージックの活動を開始する前に、ドラマーとして音楽活動を始めた。彼は、ロンドンの８０年代の後半のアシッ ド・ジャ ズ・シーンの中、売れっ子セッション・ドラマーとしてもてあそんでいたが、サンプラーとドラム・マシーンの可能性を発見したや否や、その他の新たな音楽ス タイルに興味を持ち始め実験開始し始めた。彼は、Mixmaster Morris、当時ShamenのメンバーであったRichard Sharpeと共に行い、1989年と1990年にロンドンのイーストエンドのホログラム・ファクトリーで開催されていた、伝説的なSpacetimeの パーティーの設立者として、そのイヴェントでDJとライヴ・エレクトロニック・パファーマーとして、アンビエントとテクノのシーンの仲間入りを果たした。
90年の初旬にロンドンを離れ渡米し、サンフランシスコに定住し、自身のレーベル、Reflectiveを立ち上げ、今までの多くの作品を レコーディング した。
Emit Ecaps、Alien Community、Reagenz、Electro Harmonix等の違うプロジェクトで作品を発表したが、彼の最も常に脚光を浴びた名義は、Spacetime Continuumで、ほとんどのこの名義の作品は、アメリカでAstrelwerksからリリースされた。
彼は、2000年にカール・クレイグがキューレイトした、最初のデトロイト・エレクトロニック・ミュージック・フェスティバルに出演し、日 本では富士山の 麓で開催された野外フェスで、大雨の中18,000人の前でライヴを行い、世界中を駆け巡り、ライヴ・エレクトロニック・ミュージックを演奏し続けてい る。
また、Jonah Sharpは、数々のリミックスの手がけ、代表的な作品は、Nine Inch Nails (1997)、Meat Beat Manifesto (2003)、Spearhead(2004)、 とHerbert (1996)のリミックスである。
最近では、Jonah Sharpは、プロデューサーの役目に徹し、サンフランシスコのディスコ・パンク・グループであるParadise Boys、マエストロ・タブラ奏者であるZakir Hussein、彼の子供のバンド、$lotmachineといった幅広いアーティストを手がけている。またGRATEFUL DEADのドラマー、ミッキー・ハートのGlobal Drum Projectのアルバム制作にも制作に携わっている。現在、彼は、新しいソロ作品をプロデュースしているか、トーキング・ドラム・マエストロ、 Sikiru Adepojuと共演したり、制作している。
2008年には、待望のMixmaster Morrisとのコラボレーション・アルバムがリリースされる予定。

久下恵生（FLYING RHYTHMSの ドラマー）
大阪・南河内生まれ。地元の「だんじり祭り」の影響が今日のドラム 演奏の原型とな る。
７９’ 頃より吉祥寺「マイナー」で工藤冬里（マヘル）、石渡明廣（渋谷オーケストラ）らとセッションを重ねる。８０’PUNGO,FILMSに参加。 ８３’渡米し、ストリート、教会などで演奏する。帰国後、マヘル・シャラル・ハシュ・バズ、篠田正己ユニット、ストラーダ、パラダイスガラージ（豊田道 倫）他、セッションしたミュージシャンとしてウィリアムブレイカー、ECD、インキャパシタンズ、梅津和時、原田依幸、裸のラリーズ、三上寛、高田渡、清 水一登などに参加。２００１’Bumblebee Recordsより、向島ゆり子プデュース、内田直之の録音＆ミックスにより初のソロ・アルバム「KUGE」をリリース。様々な音楽ファンの度肝を抜く。
BEANSAN aka カジワラトシオ
９０年初頭よりニューヨークのあらゆる地下音楽シーンに携わり、即興パフォーマンスからクラブ DJまで、広域に渡る軌跡を残してきた日本人。DJオリーヴと共に音楽イベント”Phonomena”を主催、総計２００回以上のパフォーマンス・イベン トを企画。同名のレーベルも運営、過去にはジョン・アップルトンやリュック・フェラーリの未発表音源等をリリース。その他、９６年以来クリスチャン・マー クレー・トリオのメンバーとして世界ツアーに参加するなど、即興音楽家としての演奏活動も多数。ニューヨークのカルト的レコード屋として知られるA-1 Record Shopにて店長を勤め、過去１０年にわたり多数の珍盤発掘と再評価をリードしてきたことも評価されている。

The celestial star-studded rhinestone line-up features, SPACETIME Tokyo’s very own, Me-sheen who reved it up, with his live performance @liquid loft last summer, performing some of his new tunes, from his upcoming new album & the analogue synth wiz, Hataken, playing his depth defining vintage synths with full effect, er, watch his finger wizardry on the screen! Also, representing Tokyo, is the ambient originator himself, Kay Nakayama, of chillscape, intelligent jazz, spinning some soothing chillout sounds.
To compliment Kay Nakayama, is his english cohort, not explanation necessary, Ninja Tune’s very own,Irresistable Force, chillout meister himself, Mixmaster Morris, once again, coming down from planet X (er, well, London, actually), to hypnotize us, once again, with his magical chillout deejaying!!
And Morris’ partner-in-crime for production and SPACETIME parties, Spacetime Continuum’s Jonah Sharp is going to perform exclusively for this party! The king of ambience/ electronic music, Reflective Records’ head, is back, for the 1st time in 4 years to these shores, ready to add the extra pusche, chi, light, energy, mastery into SPACETIME! Jonah is also working on the long awaited Irresistable Forcealbum with Morris now and will be showcasing 2 songs from this album with Morris, so come check it out! The forces that be, the stars aligned, to make this impossibility, totally possible, with SPACETIME’s Richard Sharpe hooking up with Smile Dancer Orchestra’s BUN666 in Tokyo 2008. This early 21st century defining SPACETIME party will no doubt be, a party to neverend all parties, a bedtime story for all future sonic generations alike, so be there or be rectangular, horizontal, vertical, or just plain square, a party not to be missed since it is THE BEGINNING THAT NEVER ENDS… The byte goes on and on and on!

Jonah Sharp/ Spacetime Continuum

Ambient techno innovator Jonah Sharp has recorded several albums and EPs as Spacetime Continuum and played an important role in the 90’s in consolidating the global experimental ambient and techno scene through his (soon to be revived & will be availible digitally on beatport soon)Reflective Records imprint. As well as a string of solo studio albums on Astralwerks and Virgin Records he has worked with many artists including a live album with writer and philosopher Terence McKennna, and collaborations with Haruomi Hosono of Yellow Magic Orchestra, Pete Namlook, Ursula Rucker, Move D, Tetsu Inoue, Mixmaster Morris and Bill Laswell to name but a few.
An Edinburgh, Scotland native , Sharp started his musical life as a drummer before embarking on his career in electronic music. He was an in-demand session drummer flirting with the late 80’s London acid jazz club scene until the discovery of the possibilities of a sampler and a drum machine had him experimenting with other styles. He came into ambient and techno as a DJ and live electronic performer as a founding member of the legendary Spacetime parties, held in a hologram factory in London in ’89 and ’90.
He left London for America in the early ’90s, settling in San Francisco, where he established hisReflective label and recorded the bulk of his work to date. Although that work has been split over a number of different project headings (Emit Ecaps, Alien Community, Reagenz, Electro Harmonix, and others), his most consistently visible work has been as Spacetime Continuum, most of which was released by Astralwerks in the US.
He has performed live electronic music all over the world including a slot at the very first Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2000 curated by Carl Craig and on Mount Fuji in front of 18,000 people during an insane torrential rain storm. He has remixed the likes of Nine Inch Nails (1997), Meat Beat Manifesto (2003) Spearhead( 2004) and Herbert (1996)
More recently he has spent time in the producers chair working with acts as diverse as San Francisco disco punk scensters Paradise Boys ,maestro tabla player Zakir Hussein and his own kids band$lotmachine. Currently he is holed up in a studio somewhere writing brand new solo material and gigging/writing with talking drum maestro Sikiru Adepoju.
Upcoming for 2008 is the long awaited collaboration with Mixmaster Morris due out soon.
